傳說人類的語言在建造巴別塔的過程中被打亂，其後各種的語言就此衍生。本來只有一種的那個語言究竟是什麼模樣？

他們的嘴巴發出不同聲音，指手劃腳，嘗試互相溝通卻好像怎麼也進不了對方的内心，焦躁、難耐與孤獨充滿了他們的身體。巨大的謎團在運轉，人們圍繞無形的火焰起舞，日夜不止息。

The language of mankind was disrupted during the construction of the Tower of Babylon, and various civilisations emerged. What did that language look like, when there was only one?

Their mouths make noises, they gesticulate, they try to communicate with each other but they can't seem to get inside each other, anxiety, frustration and loneliness fill their bodies. A great mystery is at work, and people dance around the invisible flame, day and night.

空間昏暗。

她坐在木梯上方手持一個深棕色舊式桿秤，秤上裝起數十顆小巧的鮮紅色小蕃茄。

慾望的重量。

進食，細細咀嚼，偶爾發出像嬰兒還未學懂說話時的聲音。

同時，他發出長短不一的低鳴，悠長而深遠。兩把聲音間歇交替重疊迥盪在整個空間中。

走下木樓梯，白色的筆開始在牆上寫上不知明的圖案，從牆身描畫到暗黑色的地面。

消隱。

他以僵硬機器式的姿態一直在她身後掉碎石子。

擊落。

符號顯現。白色的筆劃動得越來越快，重覆、短促、接近、低伏、對視、發聲、重覆。

各種神情顯露。她口中發出的聲音變得激烈、扭曲。
